Terms of use
IK SPRINKLEE, Registration No. 40002213590, Legal Address – Mārupes novads, Mārupe, "Amatas", LV-2167, hereinafter referred to as the online store, provides the content and services available on the website in accordance with the following Terms of Use.
1. General Terms
When a consumer purchases goods/services via the website, this agreement is considered a Distance Contract and is subject to the laws of the Republic of Latvia regulating distance contracts, including but not limited to the “Consumer Rights Protection Law” and the Cabinet of Ministers’ Regulations on Distance Contracts.
2. Making Purchases
Prices and specifications of products sold in the online store are listed next to the products. The currency used for transactions on the website is Euro.
To place an order, add the desired products to the shopping cart by specifying the type and quantity. Complete all required fields and select the appropriate delivery method. The total cost, including delivery, will be displayed. To complete the order, make the payment using the payment tools available on the website or the invoice sent to your email. The invoice is generated electronically and is valid without a signature.
The contract becomes effective once the payment is successfully received in the online store’s bank account. If, for any reason, the order cannot be fulfilled, the Buyer will be notified, and the paid amount will be refunded as soon as possible but no later than within 14 days of receiving the notification.
3. Delivery Terms
Products are delivered to the following countries: In Europe – Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Poland, Germany, Denmark, Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Switzerland, Italy, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, United Kingdom, and Ireland. In North America – Canada and the USA, and in Australia. By contacting the online store via email at [email protected], it is possible to inquire about delivery options to other countries.
Purchased products are delivered using: Latvia Post parcel terminal system for local deliveries, and for international deliveries, standard postal service is used unless otherwise agreed or if delivery is free. All duties and taxes required for receiving the shipment at the delivery destination must be covered by the Buyer.
Free delivery is offered for orders exceeding €35 if the delivery method is a Latvia Post parcel terminal located within Latvia. Delivery costs are displayed before confirming the order. Purchased items are delivered to the Buyer’s specified parcel terminal within 2–5 business days at Latvia 2–14 business days internationaly.
In exceptional cases, we reserve the right to deliver products within 30 calendar days, with prior notification to the customer.
4. Right of Withdrawal
The Buyer has the right to withdraw from the product within 14 calendar days from the date of receipt by sending a withdrawal notice to the Seller. The withdrawal form will be provided to the Buyer via email upon request.
The Buyer is required to return the product to the Seller within 7 days of sending the withdrawal notice. All costs related to the return of the product are to be covered by the Buyer. Once the returned goods are received, the online store will immediately, but no later than 14 days, refund all payments made by the Buyer according to the Distance Contract.
The Buyer cannot exercise the right of withdrawal if:
- The nature of the product makes it impossible to return, or it is perishable or quickly consumable;
- The product was custom-made specifically for the Buyer;
- The product’s packaging has been opened;
- The Buyer is a legal entity.
The online store is not responsible for delays or failure to fulfill obligations due to circumstances beyond its control.
The online store reserves the right to refuse to sell products and request the return of goods from the Buyer if a pricing error has resulted in the price being significantly lower than the market value.
According to Article 12, Section 6 of the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia, the Buyer is responsible for maintaining the quality and safety of the product during the withdrawal period. The Seller reserves the right to refuse the withdrawal or withhold a compensation fee if the product is damaged, mishandled during use, or if the original packaging is lost or significantly damaged.
5. Consumer Rights Regarding Non-Conforming Goods
The online store is responsible for any non-conformity or defects in the goods sold to the Buyer that arise within 6 months from the date of delivery or were present at the time of delivery, provided that this does not contradict the nature of the goods or the defect. The Buyer must inform the Seller of any non-conformity immediately, within 2 months of discovering it, by submitting a complaint. The Buyer can file a complaint by contacting the online store at [email protected].
The online store is not responsible for defects that occur after the goods have been delivered to the Buyer. If the purchased goods have defects for which the Seller is responsible, the Buyer has the right to request the repair of the defects or to exchange the goods for new ones at no cost.
If it is not possible to repair or replace the goods, the Seller will refund all payments made by the Buyer according to the Distance Contract. The Seller will provide a written response to the consumer’s complaint within 15 days.
6. Processing of Buyer’s Personal Data
The online store processes only the personal data provided by the Buyer during the order process, such as name, surname, email address, etc.
The online store transfers personal data to the delivery service provider(s) to ensure the delivery of goods.
If you have explicitly agreed to receive our marketing communications, including updates, we may periodically contact you with information about our services and latest offers. For this purpose, we may process the email address you provided when subscribing to marketing communication. The Buyer agrees that notifications related to the order processing will be sent to the email address provided. The Buyer can opt out of receiving marketing communications by notifying us via email at [email protected].
7. Dispute Resolution Procedure
For matters not covered by these terms and conditions, the Buyer and Seller agree to adhere to the laws in force in the Republic of Latvia.
All disputes arising between the Buyer and Seller will be resolved through mutual discussion or written correspondence. If the dispute cannot be settled through these means, it will be resolved in the courts of the Republic of Latvia, in accordance with Latvian law. Disputes between the Buyer (consumer) and the Seller can also be referred to the Consumer Rights Protection Centre or the courts of the Republic of Latvia. The Buyer has the right to approach European Union dispute resolution bodies as well.
By entering the required information and placing an order, the Buyer confirms that they have read and agree to the use of their data for order processing and product delivery in accordance with Latvian law.
